GL Accountant

What to expect:

• Record payroll-related journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile payroll records, including wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions, ensuring alignment with balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll-related reports
• Act as a back-up of the tasks of a teammate as assigned.

To be successful you need to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounting
• Prior experience in payroll will be considered an advantage
• Good level of Excel knowledge
• Foreign language: good level of English
• An excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships, working cross-function
• Close attention to detail and ability to work independently
