About the role
D-Wave is looking for a Global Benefits Specialist II to join our Total Rewards team. In this role, you'll help deliver an exceptional employee experience by administering and supporting our global benefits programs. You'll partner with employees, HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure our benefits programs are accurate, compliant, and operate efficiently across multiple countries.

What you'll do
- Administer global employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefit offerings.
- Support benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and other employee benefit transactions.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, vendors, and brokers to ensure accurate benefit administration, payments and resolve employee issues.
- Audit benefit data, payroll deductions, and vendor files to maintain data integrity.
- Support annual Open Enrollment, benefit renewals, and other recurring benefits activities.
- Manage global leave of absence administration, from eligibility through return to work, ensuring compliance with FMLA and local statutory requirements.
- Prepare reports and analyze benefits data to identify trends, assess competitiveness through benchmarking, reconcile discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Assist with compliance activities, regulatory reporting, and required employee communications.
- Participate in benefits projects, system enhancements, and vendor implementations.
- Help maintain benefits documentation, knowledge resources, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver outstanding service and employee experience by responding to employee questions and providing guidance on benefit programs.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, benefits analysis, Total Rewards, or Human Resources.
- Experience administering employee benefit programs and applicable regulatory requirements in a multi-state or global environment.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
