Job Overview

The role is responsible for the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of Mars Pet Nutrition customer supply chain collaboration capabilities across strategic customers globally, with particular focus on digital commerce and Amazon. By partnering across global functions, regional organizations, and customer teams, the role drives the adoption of common standards, best practices, and collaborative initiatives that deliver mutual value, enhance customer experience, and improve end-to-end supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategic supply chain relationship with Amazon and other strategic global customers, representing Mars Pet Nutrition globally, shaping and advancing joint initiatives that enable profitable growth, and supporting operating entities in delivering value from agreed priorities.
• Build D-Com supply chain capability as an organizational muscle, fostering cross-learning between mature markets such as North America and Europe, translating proven approaches into best practices and playbooks,setting standards where relevant, and helping smaller markets such as MX, AU, JP accelerate their D-Com journey
• Lead the GTLT-sponsored Win in D-Com multi-year program, shaping the roadmap, driving governance and stakeholder alignment, and partnering with R&D, Commercial, DT and Supply teams to build and sustain D-Commerce-ready capabilities that improve availability, enable portfolio strategy, and accelerate speed to market.
• Develop and deploy global customer supply chain collaboration playbooks, standards, process maps, RACIs, role definitions, training materials, adoption toolkits and knowledge assets that can be reused across Operating Entities.
• Determine strategy and drive actions to maximize customer satisfaction, as expressed by TAS (Trade Attitude Survey)
• Identify & execute E2E supply chain improvement opportunities of mutual benefit, including optimization of fulfilment models (x-channel, x-market and other), cost-to-serve opportunities, and supporting commercial negotiations on supply-related topics
• Create & deploy joint sustainability roadmaps. Scope includes transport efficiency, more effective RTM, innovation trials, packaging innovation test and learn.
• Own and support Amazon Gembas and other interactive events with strategic customers that are focused on the joint supply chain,
• Set up global KPIs and scorecards and effective review; lead improvement efforts and own share out to the markets and customer.
• Build and lead a supply chain collaboration community of practice across operating entities
• Partner with Mars Supply Excellence to identify and drive potential cross-segment synergies; partner with regional supply chain leaders in Pet Nutrition operating entities to drive capability maturity assessments, gap analysis and improvement plans, balancing global consistency with specific market archetypes and operating realities.

• Partner with Digital Technologies and external partners to shape the customer supply chain collaboration technology roadmap and continuous improvement priorities.
