Context

A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is launching a major CRM transformation programme focused on replacing its existing CRM landscape with either Veeva Vault CRM or Salesforce CRM.

The programme will support Commercial Excellence, Customer Engagement and CRM process harmonisation across multiple global markets. The organisation is seeking an experienced Global CRM Programme Director to lead the programme, align stakeholders, manage implementation partners and drive successful global delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Pharma CRM transformation leader with strong experience delivering global CRM programmes within Life Sciences environments.

The role combines programme leadership, stakeholder management, business process harmonisation, vendor governance and global CRM deployment management.

Successful candidates will have extensive experience working with Veeva CRM, Vault CRM and/or Salesforce CRM within global pharmaceutical organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global CRM transformation programme from planning through deployment
• Drive CRM business process harmonisation across global commercial organisations
• Manage executive stakeholders, programme governance and steering committees
• Coordinate implementation partners, system integrators and CRM vendors
• Own programme planning, budget management, risk management and delivery oversight
• Support CRM platform selection, implementation and rollout activities
• Drive stakeholder engagement, adoption and organisational change activities
• Build strong relationships across business, IT and external partner organisations

Required Experience

• Proven experience leading global CRM transformation programmes
• Strong Veeva CRM and/or Veeva Vault CRM experience
• Strong Salesforce CRM experience
• Experience within Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Consumer Healthcare or Cosmetics organisations
• Track record delivering multi-country CRM rollouts across EMEA, APAC and/or Americas
• Experience managing implementation partners and system integrators
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing programme budgets, governance, risks and delivery plans
• Strong understanding of commercial processes, customer engagement and CRM operating models
• Experience working within fast-growing and dynamic organisations

Nice to Have

• Previous Veeva Vault CRM implementation experience
• Strong network within Veeva, Salesforce and CRM implementation partner ecosystem
• Experience working with large-scale global Pharma CRM programmes
• Knowledge of Commercial Excellence and Multichannel Engagement programmes
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills
• Experience operating in regulated and compliance-driven environments

Contract Details

Location: Europe (Hybrid / Remote)
Working Model: Full-time
Set-up: Freelance / Contractor
Start: ASAP / Q1 2027 kickoff
Duration: Initial 12-month contract with annual extensions expected
Workload: Full-time
Travel: Approximately 1 week per month to various international hubs (mostly in europe)
