THE ROLE

We're looking for our first Global Design & UX Lead at Haypp Group. This is a unique opportunity to establish and scale design across a complex international ecosystem of products, platforms, customer journeys, and markets, creating a shared vision for how millions of customers experience our digital storefronts.

As Haypp Group continues to grow internationally across multiple brands and markets, we've established a global Brand team to strengthen consistency and brand identity across the business. We are now looking for a design leader who can bring the same strategic approach to our digital customer experience.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will own the global UX and design vision across our brands, products, and customer journeys. You will play a key role in building a scalable design practice, establishing a global design system, and ensuring a seamless user experience across markets while balancing local needs with global consistency. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and Commercial teams, you will drive design excellence, champion user-centred thinking, and help shape how millions of customers interact with our products and brands. You will also help future-proof how we work by leveraging emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and modern SaaS platforms to improve design effectiveness and customer outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced design professional who is ready to take the next step into a broader, more strategic leadership role, while still enjoying hands-on involvement in design and customer experience

Hybrid work model with in-office collaboration Tuesday to Thursday at our Stockholm office on Södermalm, balancing flexibility with strong team connection.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own and evolve the global UX and design vision across Haypp Group's brands and digital products
• Establish and scale a global design system across markets, platforms, and storefronts
• Define design principles, governance models, and ways of working across teams
• Drive user-centred design through research, testing, insights, and performance data
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, and Commercial stakeholders globally
• Ensure consistent and seamless customer experiences across brands, platforms, and markets
• Mentor designers and strengthen design capabilities and maturity across the organization
• Connect design decisions to business outcomes including conversion, retention, and engagement
• Stay at the forefront of emerging design technologies, AI capabilities, and SaaS platforms, helping shape how Haypp leverages new tools, workflows, and ways of working

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 6-10 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Digital Design, or related fields, including experience leading projects, teams, or design practices
• Proven experience building and scaling design systems across multiple products, brands, or markets
• Experience leading designers through direct people management or senior design leadership
• Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, user research, design operations, and customer journeys
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and Commercial teams
• Strong understanding of modern design ecosystems, including design tools, AI-powered workflows, and SaaS platforms
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Experience from e-commerce, digital consumer products, marketplaces, or similar environments is highly valued
• Fluent in English
