JOB OVERVIEW
The Finance team plays a crucial role in the success of Billion Dollar Boy Group (BDB), ensuring the business operates efficiently, remains financially healthy, and has access to accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented Global Finance Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
Working closely with the Global Finance Manager and Global Head of Finance, you will support the day-to-day financial operations across our global group of companies, including BDB Ltd, BDB Inc, IMCompanion and Creator Authority Inc.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering key accounting processes, including raising sales invoices, processing and reconciling supplier invoices, bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities.
You'll play an important part in ensuring our finance processes run smoothly, taking ownership of your responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, international agency environment, takes initiative and is always looking for opportunities to improve processes and find smarter, more efficient ways of working.
WHAT DOES GREAT LOOK LIKE?
As Global Finance Assistant, you'll take ownership of key financial processes across the BDB Group, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, deadlines are met and financial information is maintained to a high standard.
You'll work closely with the wider Finance team and stakeholders across the business, proactively resolving queries, improving processes and supporting the smooth running of our global finance operations.

Paid media spend: Work closely with the Paid Media team, holding regular reviews to verify credit card transactions, ensure all spend is accurately reconciled and allocated to the correct projects, and promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Payments & Cash Management
Weekly payment runs: Prepare and forecast weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring payments are made in line with agreed terms and sufficient funds are available across the relevant currency accounts.
Payment processing: Execute approved payment runs accurately and on time, following the appropriate internal controls and authorisation procedures.
Supplier remittances: Issue remittance advice to suppliers and resolve any payment-related queries.

Lumanu reconciliation: Perform weekly reconciliations of the Lumanu holding account and wallet, providing a clear reconciliation report and highlighting any outstanding items to the Global Finance Manager.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
Client invoicing: Prepare and issue client invoices for the IMCompanion business, ensuring accuracy, timely billing and appropriate supporting information.
Credit control: Manage outstanding receivables for IMCompanion, proactively following up on overdue invoices, resolving client queries and escalating potential collection issues where necessary.

Process improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve accuracy and increase efficiency across the finance function.
Team collaboration: Work closely with the Global Finance Manager, Global Head of Finance and wider business to provide reliable financial support and respond to ad hoc requests.
Additional responsibilities: Support the Finance team with other duties and projects as required.
Financial controls & compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, approval procedures and company policies, proactively identifying and escalating any discrepancies, risks or areas of non-compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role, with a good understanding of core financial processes and accounting principles.

Organisation & time management: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritise effectively and work at pace without compromising quality or missing deadlines.
Problem-solving & initiative: A resourceful and forward-thinking approach, with the confidence to identify potential issues early, investigate problems independently and propose practical solutions.
Resilience & adaptability: The ability to remain calm, focused and productive under pressure, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
