You will work closely with the wider Finance team and other departments, while maintaining direct communication with B2B clients regarding financial and administrative matters.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and administrative activities, including invoice registration, sales and purchase ledgers and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
- Handle B2B client collections, including overdue payment follow-ups and the resolution of billing and payment discrepancies.
- Process and maintain financial transactions accurately within the company's ERP system.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, accounting documentation and internal financial controls.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial information across different business entities and markets.
- Communicate directly with B2B clients through email, digital channels and phone to resolve financial and administrative queries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient coordination of financial processes.
- Identify opportunities to optimise accounting workflows, improve efficiency and strengthen financial procedures.
We're looking for someone based in Barcelona, who enjoys working with numbers, managing financial processes and contributing to the efficiency of an international business. You could be a strong fit if you have:
- 2–3 years of professional experience in an accounting department, finance team or audit firm.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial operations and administrative procedures.
- Experience managing invoices, reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Previous experience using ERP or accounting software.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting directly with business clients.
- A proactive, analytical and solution-oriented approach.
- Motivation to continue developing professionally within an international Finance environment.
Additional skills that would be highly valued:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly at an advanced level.
- Familiarity with Spring and/or Xero accounting software.
- Knowledge of Italian, although this is not required.
What we offer
You will join an international organisation at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to contribute directly to the accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement of financial operations across different markets.
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- Hybrid working model in Barcelona.
- Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00–18:30, and Fridays, 9:00–15:00.
- Competitive fixed salary in the €26,000–€30,000 gross annual range, depending on experience.
- An additional day off to celebrate your birthday.
- Flexible compensation options and employee benefits.
- Healthcare discounts.
- Professional development and internal growth opportunities.
- An international, dynamic and collaborative working environment.
- A culture focused on autonomy, continuous improvement and professional development.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives are valued, and everyone has equal opportunities to develop professionally.
If you have experience in accounting and financial operations and are looking for a role where you can combine financial expertise, international exposure and continuous improvement, we'd be happy to hear from you.
