๐Ÿ” About the Role

As our new Global IT Governance, Compliance & Integration Program Manager, you will lead the strategic integration programs required to successfully merge two global organizations into a unified, compliant, and scalable operating model.

This role goes beyond traditional program management.

  • You will act as the executive leader driving governance, risk management, compliance, audit readiness, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across JBT Marel's global technology landscape.
  • You will work across business and IT domains including ERP, governance, security, compliance, and enterprise applications.
  • You will partner closely with Executive Leadership, Corporate Functions, Internal Audit, Finance, Legal, Cyber Security, Compliance, and Business Leadership to establish an integrated governance framework supporting both US and EU regulatory requirements whilst enabling business growth and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate combines extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs with deep expertise in SOX, ITGC, enterprise risk management, ISO standards, audit coordination, governance operating models, and post-merger integration.

๐Ÿง  Key Responsibilities

Merger Integration & Enterprise Transformation Leadership

  • Lead strategic technology and governance programs supporting the integration of two global organizations into a single operating model.
  • Establish and execute enterprise-wide integration roadmaps covering governance, controls, compliance, risk management, identity management, security, ERP, and shared services.
  • Align business objectives, technology strategy, and regulatory requirements across multiple regions.
  • Drive complex global transformation initiatives involving Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and IT.
  • Ensure successful implementation of target operating models, governance structures, and integration milestones.

Executive Stakeholder Management & Board Governance

  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, Board members, business leaders, and corporate functions.
  • Lead Executive Steering Committees, Governance Councils, Risk Committees, and Integration Leadership Forums.
  • Advise senior leadership on strategic risks, compliance implications, integration decisions, and transformation priorities.
  • Present program status, key decisions, emerging risks, and mitigation strategies to executive audiences.
  • Translate complex regulatory, technology, and operational topics into concise business-oriented recommendations.

Governance, Risk & Compliance Leadership

  • Design and implement enterprise governance frameworks supporting a global integrated organization.
  • Establish risk management, escalation, reporting, and remediation processes across all major transformation programs.
  • Drive SOX, ITGC, ICFR, ISO27001, NIS2, cybersecurity governance, and audit readiness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with both US regulatory requirements and European regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate global audit programs and remediation activities involving Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance, and Business Leadership.
  • Develop executive risk reporting and governance dashboards enabling informed decision-making.

Controls, Assurance & Regulatory Excellence

  • Lead enterprise-wide controls harmonization activities following the merger.
  • Drive standardization of IT controls, security controls, segregation of duties, access governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with SOX, ISO27001, COBIT, NIST, GDPR, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee audit findings remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to maintain a strong control environment supporting public company requirements.

Global Leadership & Organizational Alignment

  • Lead large, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams through influence and collaboration.
  • Align stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Security, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Operations, and Technology.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, risk awareness, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive adoption of governance and compliance standards across diverse regions and business units.
  • Support organizational change management associated with integration and transformation initiatives.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What kind of person are you?

You will recognize yourself in the following:

  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale global transformation, governance, risk, or compliance programs.
  • Proven track record supporting mergers, acquisitions, post-merger integrations, or enterprise operating model transformations.
  • Expertise in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Internal Controls, SOX, ITGC, ICFR, and Audit Management.
  • Strong understanding of US and European regulatory environments and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working directly with Executive Leadership Teams, Boards, Audit Committees, and Regulatory stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success establishing governance models and risk management frameworks within complex multinational organizations.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, GDPR, NIS2, Enterprise Risk Management, and cybersecurity governance is an advantage.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating in highly matrixed, international environments.

The job requires the ability to travel on an as-needs basis which is estimated to 5-10% of your time.
