  • Prepare and advise senior executives and subject matter experts for interviews and other media engagements.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with relevant journalists and media outlets.
  • Identify opportunities for Philips leaders to contribute to important public conversations and advance the company’s thought leadership.
  • Work closely with Communications & Brand colleagues and partners in Investor Relations, Legal, business communications and other functions.
  • Monitor media coverage and emerging issues, assess potential reputational impact and recommend appropriate responses.
  • Ensure that media activity aligns with Philips’ global communications priorities and is adapted appropriately for different markets and audiences.

You're the right fit if:

  • Proven experience as a company spokesperson, ideally with a background in a communications or agency and experience handling complex or sensitive media issues.
  • Strong skills in positioning, messaging, storytelling and interview delivery.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and influencing stakeholders in a complex, international organization.
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to respond effectively under time pressure.
  • A strong understanding of the media environment and reputation management across traditional and digital channels.
  • Experience in health technology, healthcare or another regulated industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch, with near-native fluency in both languages.
