  • Amplify your impact at a world top 50 University
  • Join our inclusive, collaborative community

The Opportunity

Global mobility is complex - visa timelines, tax implications, relocation logistics - and the people navigating it need an expert in their corner. As a Global Mobility Consultant embedded in the Talent Reward and Mobility team, you'll be that expert, supporting staff and researchers moving across borders with clarity, care, and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing end-to-end advisory support for international assignments, relocations, and secondments across a globally connected workforce
  • Coordinating immigration, tax, and relocation processes in partnership with external providers and internal HR stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate mobility data and contributing to policy reviews that reflect best practice
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for assignees throughout the lifecycle of their mobility experience

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a global mobility, expatriate management, or international HR role
  • Working knowledge of immigration frameworks, assignment structures, and cross-border tax considerations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information accessibly
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating across multiple concurrent assignments
  • High attention to detail and comfort working within compliance-driven processes
  • Familiarity with mobility within a large, matrixed organisation — experience in the higher education or research sector is an advantage

Why This Role

This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity to contribute to a function that directly enables global research collaboration and talent exchange at scale. You'll work within a collegial Talent Reward and Mobility team that values rigour and genuine service. The role comes with access to generous leave entitlements, above-SGC superannuation, and flexible working arrangements that support how professionals work best today.
