Shape the future of our end-to-end logistics.

As Global Process Owner (gn) - Logistics within our enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation, you will own the global end-to-end process responsibility for our logistics. You combine strategic process design with technical implementation and bridge the gap between internal sites, 3PL partners, IT, and adjacent business functions.

Through your efforts, you will build a scalable, international, and integration-ready logistics model that ensures efficiency, speed, and high operational quality.

If you bring deep expertise in logistics and warehousing within an FMCG or food environment and are excited to drive standardisation during a major business transformation, we look forward to getting to know you.

Your Mission with Us

  • Define and own the global standard process design for end-to-end logistics — from inbound/goods receipt to warehousing, outbound order fulfilment, returns, and scrapping/write-offs.
  • Own the business requirements and target concepts across WMS and SAP S/4HANA, aligning continuously with your technology counterparts.
  • Establish the PO / goods receipt clearing concept (tolerances, partial deliveries, variance logic) as the receiving counterpart to Procure-to-Pay.
  • Implement standardised inventory accuracy processes (cycle counting, adjustment workflows) and clear returns disposition logic.
  • Govern the hybrid logistics network across internal sites (RM/PM, D2C) and external 3PL partners (B2B), managing interfaces, SLAs, and performance.
  • Track and optimize key logistics KPIs (e.g. OTIF, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, return cycle times, scrap rates) while maintaining high data quality.
  • Drive change management and process adoption across warehouse operations and 3PL partners, resolving cross-functional roadblocks with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance.
  • Align closely with adjacent Global Process Owners (Manufacturing, Planning, Procure-to-Pay) and the Transformation Office to ensure seamless cross-functional interfaces.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Deep expertise and extensive experience in warehousing, logistics, and inventory management in an FMCG, food, or dietary supplements environment — spanning both owned and 3PL-operated networks.
  • Hands-on experience with a WMS and a solid working understanding of SAP MM / SD logistics execution integration.
  • Strong command of goods receipt and PO clearing logic, cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes, as well as reverse logistics management.
  • End-to-end process mindset that seamlessly connects procurement receipts, manufacturing hand-offs, planning targets, and financial write-off processes.
  • Seniority to manage 3PL partners alongside internal warehouse operations, paired with a hands-on attitude, strong change management skills, and a willingness for regular on-site presence at logistics sites.
  • High level of initiative, strong communication skills, and the capability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments smoothly.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) logistics transformations (MM/SD/EWM) and carrier/freight management is a major plus.
  • Fluent in English and good German skills.
