Department Overview

The Worldwide Sales Effectiveness & Enablement organization leads the strategy, development, and delivery of sales tools and processes to enable an efficient, effective selling organization. This group is responsible for the everyday tools our sellers, customers, and partners use to drive Sales Growth. Our mission is to deliver the best set of tools, data, and processes to enable a simple seller experience.

Job Description

The Global Process Owner – Quote to Order (Q2O) is responsible for the global strategy, end-to-end process design, and operational governance of our Quote to Order workflow. You will serve as the strategic connector between business operations, sales, pre-sales and IT teams—documenting "as-is" workflows, identifying and resolving systemic pain points, driving cross-functional alignment, and prioritizing the roadmap to deliver a frictionless, scalable experience for our global sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Process Architecture & Ownership: Own the global end-to-end vision, design, and continuous improvement of the Quote to Order lifecycle
  • Program & Roadmap Leadership: Define and prioritize the Q2O enhancement roadmap across Oracle CPQ, and adjacent toolsets. Lead multi-phase initiatives from strategy and discovery through deployment.
  • Problem Solving & Operational Optimization: Act as the strategic subject matter expert to diagnose and resolve process bottlenecks, and operational friction within the quoting to order ecosystem.
  • Requirements & Solution Design: Map "as-is" and "to-be" processes. Partner with business units to capture comprehensive requirements and translate them into clear user stories, functional specifications, and business processes.
  • Cross-Functional Governance & Alignment: Build consensus and maintain strong alignment across global Sales, Pre-Sales Finance, Legal, Business Operations, and IT.
  • Change Management & Business Readiness: Lead enterprise wide change management, business readiness strategies, training, and communication plans to drive global tool adoption and compliance.
  • Testing, Quality Assurance & Data Integrity: Oversee UAT execution and test scenarios to validate system functionality before production releases.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Quote to Order Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise in Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) platforms (Oracle CPQ preferred; Salesforce CPQ or similar accepted) and their integration with CRM (Salesforce) and downstream ERP systems.
  • Strategic Process Mapping: Expertise in end-to-end process mapping
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proven capability to lead without direct authority, drive executive alignment, and bridge business requirements with technical execution.
  • Agile Execution & Tooling: Proficient in Agile methodologies, release cycles, and lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Communication & Change Leadership: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a track record of driving change across complex, matrixed global organizations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree or MBA a plus.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Sales, Sales or Business Operations, Business Consulting, and Project or Program Management
  • Direct or Indirect Leadership: Proven track record leading enterprise tool deployments and process governance within a global corporate environment or management consulting firm.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 USD
