Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

BCG’s Enterprise Services organization is undergoing a bold transformation to become a truly tech-first, AI-powered organization. We aim for structural reinvention and are reimagining how Enterprise Services operates, delivers value, and partners with the business by embedding technology, data, and AI at the core of every service and process.

In our journey to power end-to-end user experiences, our Enterprise Services Digital organization is moving away function-led service delivery to experience-led, platform-enabled capabilities that are scalable, intelligent, and continuously improving. This means:

  • Creating seamless user journeys across functions, geographies, and tools
  • Designing services as digital products, with clear ownership, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
  • Leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to augment human expertise and unlock productivity
  • Building interoperable, API-enabled platforms that reduce fragmentation and technical debt
  • Shifting from reactive service provision to proactive, data-driven orchestration

Within this broader transformation, Smart Office is a flagship domain focused on redefining the end-to-end Street-to-Seat and Workplace experience: the seamless journey that begins when an employee or visitor approaches a BCG office and continues through arrival, workspace usage, collaboration, and departure. Our ambition is to create a fully connected, intelligent workplace ecosystem that integrates physical space, digital tools, and operational services into one cohesive experience.

As the Smart Office Global Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering this connected workplace vision — ensuring that technology enhances employee productivity, improves operational efficiency, and provides data-driven decision support, while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability, security, and scalability. This role will be responsible for helping to define, build and implement the Smart Office Digital Product use cases and roadmap

Among your responsibilities, you will:

  • Determine business requirements to shape the BCG Smart Office product journey and Street-to-Seat user experience
  • Serve as a Liaison between the Workplace Experience business partners and the Smart Office Product squad to ensure that key business objectives are met
  • Working with key senior stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Defining the form, content, and capabilities provided in our Smart Office products and solutions
  • Identify key changes and impacts to our existing reporting capabilities and products
  • Understanding multiple data sources and putting together practical and viable models for the analytics reports being prepared
  • Developing comprehensive implementation plans along with delivering the output as defined in the project’s goals and objectives
  • Assessing the gaps between the prioritized requirements and the Product capabilities, current and upcoming. Generating solution options and, with the use of an agreed set of design principles, selecting the preferred option to move forward
  • Acting as a functional subject matter expert for partnering to troubleshooting Smart Office data issues, redesign processes and develop reports
  • Developing training materials and delivering trainings to end-users
  • Curating backlog of requested enhancements
  • Develop and track technical roadmap for feature enhancements
  • Assist with validation of Smart Office data and product builds

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Product Management or Economics. Advanced degree preferred, but not required
  • 6-8+ years of experience in Digital Products, Digital Workplace Experience, Data & Space analytics or equivalent field; less experience considered for exceptional performers
  • End-to-end product management experience owning roadmap, discovery, delivery, and measurable outcomes for digital or technology-enabled products.
  • Smart office / IoT expertise, including connected devices (sensors, access control, HVAC, lighting) and workplace platforms (desk booking, visitor management, hybrid work tools).
  • Strong technical fluency, with experience in system integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, data analytics, and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Data-driven decision making, leveraging occupancy, utilization, and energy analytics to inform product improvements and business cases.
  • Enterprise stakeholder management, working cross-functionally with IT, Real Estate, Workplace Experience, and executive leadership.
  • Change management and adoption leadership, driving employee engagement, training, and successful rollout of workplace technologies.

Who You'll Work With

  • Smart office Product Owner and squad members to ensure a shared understanding of the work
  • Cross-functional digital product team members in Enterprise Services, Workplace Experience to deliver innovative Smart Office solutions and insights to drive action
  • BCG employees and managers as internal customers to inform and shape the Smart Office and Street-to-Seat journey
  • Other Digital Portfolio members within BCG, on solutions, workflows, product roadmap, and collaborate on best practices to ensure alignment between squads
  • Agile Coaches for guidance on Agile ways of working and to promote agility within your team
  • Chapter Leads and Tech Area Leaders for technical solutioning and delivery
