About the Role
Do you love medical technology and want to see it make a real difference for animals? Movora is looking for a Global Product Manager to lead our veterinary imaging and minimally invasive visualization portfolio. This includes Digital Radiography, C-Arm, and CT, plus our Endoscopy, Arthroscopy, and Laparoscopy platforms (towers, scopes, instruments, single-use products, consumables, and software).
In this role, you’ll own the global strategy, financial performance, and full lifecycle of a growing business segment. You’ll be accountable for revenue, margin, and profitability, build a multi-year portfolio roadmap, and make sure our sales teams, distributors, and partners have everything they need to deliver value to general practitioners and orthopedic specialists. You’ll be the central link between R&D, Marketing, Sales, Clinical Education, Quality, Supply Chain, and our Contract Manufacturing (CDM) partners.
You’ll report to the Product Management Director and work globally, with regional execution through North America, Europe, and our channel partner markets.
What You’ll Do
Strategy and Portfolio Leadership
- Define the segment vision, annual operating plan, 3 to 5 year strategic plan, and 3 to 10 year portfolio roadmap in partnership with R&D and CDM partners
- Set clear global positioning, messaging, and differentiation for each platform by therapy and customer segment (GPs and surgeons)
- Own the business model for each platform, including innovative acquisition models that consider total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Grow the installed base with a steady stream of new solutions built around our platforms
- Lead global pricing strategy, including pricing architecture, corridors, delegation of authority (DOA) compliance, and market-specific pricing programs for the regions
Financial and Commercial Results
- Deliver segment revenue, margin, and profitability targets while tracking adoption, utilization, share, launch milestones, and marketing ROI
- Own the segment marketing and product budget, annual forecast, and quarterly reforecasts
- Own demand forecasting and S&OP input with Supply Chain to keep inventory ready for launches and supply steady from CDM partners
- Partner with Marketing and Education to build global sales tools, launch kits, and training materials
- Support commercial teams from early training through certification to shorten time to first sale and build confidence in our value proposition
- Provide ongoing education for channel partners and sales teams through programs, materials, and workshops
Lifecycle, Product Development, and Quality
- Own the full lifecycle from ideation and business case (NPV, market model, forecast) through NPI core team leadership, launch readiness, post-launch adoption, installed base upgrades, and end-of-life planning
- Provide product input to design controls and risk management, and serve as the product voice for complaints, CAPA, and field actions alongside Quality
- Oversee a continuous flow of updates, upgrades, and feature engineering across hardware, software, professional services, and maintenance
Market Development and Voice of the Customer
- Lead VOC and market insights, including competitive offerings and therapy growth trends
- Build a global network of KOLs, specialist surgeons, and veterinary societies, with regular time in clinics, ORs, and training labs
- Keep an eye on competitors, market trends, and emerging technologies like robotics, fluorescence imaging, AI, and shifting sites of care
Clinical Evidence and Education
- Shape the clinical evidence and publication strategy with Clinical Affairs and KOLs
- Partner with Clinical Education on veterinarian training programs, bioskills and procedure labs, and sales certification for each platform
Business Development and Partnerships
- Work with Procurement to manage CDM suppliers and ensure reliable supply and excellent quality
- Explore licensing, distribution, partnership, and M&A opportunities with Business Development and present investment cases to the Executive Leadership Team
Executive Communication and Collaboration
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews and present strategy, performance, and investment proposals to the Executive Leadership Team and Board
- Influence without authority across a global team that includes Marketing, Sales, Clinical Education, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Support, and channel partners
- Represent Movora at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as our go-to expert in imaging and minimally invasive visualization
How Success Is Measured
- Segment revenue, gross margin, and profitability vs. plan, plus budget and forecast accuracy
- Installed base growth, adoption, and utilization (procedures per system and consumable pull-through)
- On-time, on-budget launches, marketing ROI, and customer and KOL satisfaction
- Product quality and continuous improvement (CAPAs and non-conformities)
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or life sciences
- 5 to 10 years of experience in product management, marketing, or commercial leadership in medical technology
- Familiarity with imaging and minimally invasive visualization (endoscopy, arthroscopy, and/or laparoscopy) in human or veterinary medicine, including capital equipment, single-use, and service revenue models
- Experience owning revenue and margin targets, budgets, and multi-year roadmaps
- A track record of global product launches and building commercial readiness across direct and indirect channels
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills, with comfort presenting to executives, surgeons, and sales teams
- Willingness to travel internationally (about 30%) and attend surgical procedures and labs
- AI literacy to automate recurring tasks and analysis
Bonus Points If You Have
- An MBA, or a DVM or clinical background
- Veterinary or animal health industry experience, including channel partners and CDM supplier management
- A background in imaging software, digital workflow, AI, or connected devices
- Experience in global roles across markets and functions, including business development or licensing
What Makes You a Great Fit
You connect product features to customer value, pricing, and margin, and you can build a solid business case. You see the big picture and set long-term direction, but you also keep launches on track and teams aligned. You understand surgical workflow, imaging technology, and regulatory requirements, and you can make complex solutions easy to understand and sell. You’re a confident presenter, a clear writer, and someone who builds strong relationships across cultures and geographies.
Most of all, you put patient and animal safety and product quality first. You’re curious, customer focused, and happiest when you’re out in clinics and labs. You move with urgency, challenge the status quo in a constructive way, and thrive in a fast-growing environment where not everything is figured out yet.
