Global Total Rewards & Incentives Leader — Confidential Search
Based in central London, UK (Hybrid working model)
We’re partnering with a multi-billion dollar organisation — a world leader in the building services industry, matrixed, multi-region, and currently rebuilding its global Total Rewards function from the ground up — on a search for a Total Rewards & Incentives Leader.
Interestingly incentive compensation design sits at the centre of this mandate, not the periphery: STI/bonus plans, LTI and equity programs, and performance-linked payout structures built to actually move behaviour, not just sit in a policy document.
This is a role with real license to shape the philosophy — reporting into the Chief People Officer, with genuine cross-functional weight across Finance, Legal, and the business.
What You’ll Own:
- Global reward strategy and governance — compensation, incentives, benefits, recognition, and equity programs aligned to business strategy.
- Incentive plan architecture — funding formulas, performance metrics, and payout curve design across STI, LTI, equity, and sales incentive structures.
- Enterprise transformation programs — job architecture, pay transparency, incentive redesign, benefits optimisation, vendor consolidation, and reward technology implementation — owned end to end (scope, budget, risk, delivery).
- Stakeholder partnership at the senior/executive level, translating complex reward and incentive concepts into clear, leader-ready decisions.
- A Total Rewards team you’ll coach, develop, and build into a genuinely high-performing function.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience leading Total Rewards at enterprise or regional scale, with hands-on expertise in incentive compensation design (STI, LTI/equity, and/or sales incentive structures).
- A demonstrated track record designing, modeling, and governing incentive plans tied to performance outcomes.
- Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and large-scale transformations.
- Strong financial acumen, exceptional stakeholder influence, and comfort operating in ambiguity across a multinational, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA strongly preferred. CCP/GRP a plus, not a requirement.
This is for someone tired of inheriting other people’s frameworks and ready to write the playbook — at the scale only a true industry leader can offer.
