Clicktek Consulting and yGen Innovations deliver end-to-end Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) services to enterprise clients across multiple industries. Our team works as an embedded partner with client organizations to solve complex talent and technology challenges at scale.

We are building a talent pipeline of experienced Senior Go Developers to support active and upcoming client engagements. This role focuses on developing high-traffic, high-throughput Go services using modern AI-assisted development workflows. If you have experience building production-grade Go applications that perform under real-world load, we'd love to connect with you. Experience integrating with mainframe back ends is a strong advantage but not required.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client engagement, you may be responsible for:

• Designing and developing concurrent Go services capable of handling thousands of transactions per second.
• Leveraging AI coding tools and agents to accelerate development while reviewing, validating, and production-hardening AI-generated code.
• Implementing rate limiting strategies (token-bucket or leaky-bucket) and designing caching layers using Redis or Memcached.
• Integrating services with the CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) and collaborating with COBOL engineers to replicate existing business logic.
• Writing comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests using Go test, k6, and Vegeta.
• Automating build and deployment pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Docker, and optionally Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• Instrumenting applications with Prometheus exporters, structured logging, and Grafana dashboards.
• Creating technical documentation, coding standards, architecture references, and onboarding guides.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Available to work US business hours on a mid-shift, US-aligned schedule with daily team syncs.
• Proven experience building and maintaining high-traffic, high-throughput Go applications in production.
• At least 5 years of experience developing production APIs using Go (Golang).
• Strong expertise in Go concurrency, including goroutines, channels, performance optimization, and memory profiling.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools and agents such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code.
• Strong CI/CD experience using Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Test-driven development mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Strong Advantage

• Experience with XML/XSD parsing and validation.
• Experience integrating with mainframe technologies such as CICS, CTG, or IBM MQ (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with rate-limiting patterns such as token-bucket and leaky-bucket.
• Production experience with Redis or Memcached.
• Experience performing load and performance testing using k6 or Vegeta.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes or Amazon ECS experience.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for observability and monitoring.
• Background in greenfield services that reduce mainframe CPU utilization.
• Experience collaborating with COBOL engineers on mainframe modernization initiatives.
