Our client is a US company that owns a crypto trading platform oriented to institutional investors which integrates the crypto ecosystem via a single point of access. About the role: As a Software Engineer on our team, you will develop scalable infrastructure that processes millions of orders each day and provides cutting-edge services to high-end financial customers, and work as a server-side developer to work on blockchain technology. What Youll Do Work on new and existing features that increase the speed and functionalities such as: new trading algorithms, exchange integrations, performance improvements Use deductive reasoning to solve complex problems that potentially exist beyond the scope of your local environment. Become proficient in understanding a wide range of backend services, how they all interact with each other, and what needs to change when adding to or improving our platform. Have a high level of responsibility in your projects. It'll be up to you to ask the important questions on top of coming up with optimal solutions. Find the right balance between progress (i.e. shipping quickly) and perfection (i.e. measuring twice). Have an active role in helping influence product architecture and roadmap. Work in a highly dynamic and distributed workplace with a team of equally talented engineers. What you need to succeed in this role 5+ years of experience working as a Software developer 3+ years of experience in Golang software development Experience with Javascript What could set you apart Experience with trading concepts such as types of markets, spot vs. derivatives, and how exchanges work.
