This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in software development. As a volunteer, you will work closely with our development team to enhance and maintain our platform. Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to design and implement backend services using Golang and the Gin framework. Develop and integrate REST APIs to enhance platform functionality. Assist in database management and migrations using Postgres and Atlas. Work with Kafka for message brokering and real-time data processing. Contribute to web development projects and design patterns. Engage in problem-solving and logical thinking to address technical challenges. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality. Work closely with DevOps concepts (Azure Cloud) Required Skills Proficiency in Golang and experience with the Gin framework. Understanding of REST API development. Familiarity with Postgres and backend development. Basic knowledge of Kafka for data streaming. Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Experience with Atlas for database migrations is a plus. Awareness of Ruby on Rails is an added advantage.
