We’re seeking an experienced Google Data Engineeron behalf of one of our major clients (Telecommunications Sector)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high-volume and complex datasets.
  • Develop data solutions using Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and other GCP services.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including operational and customer-related systems.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations.
  • Implement data models and data warehouse solutions to support reporting, analytics, and downstream applications.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and availability across data pipelines.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data processing and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Implement best practices around data security, governance, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's data architecture and engineering practices.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data environments.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google data technologies.
  • Strong experience with BigQuery and cloud-based data warehousing.
  • Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data processing concepts.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, and multiple data sources.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration and workflow management tools.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
