Role Overview

MDM Data Integration Engineer brings the data into Profisee and delivers the golden record to the systems and users that need it. Owns the technical integration architecture and platform operation: source extraction, ingestion pipelines, initial load, outbound publication, write-back to source systems, environments, security, and monitoring.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analyse source systems (SAP/ERP, CIS/Billing, meter data management, GIS/network, CRM, HR, legacy) and design the integration architecture: batch vs real-time, one-way vs bidirectional flows
• Build ingestion pipelines with Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric and execute the initial load with reconciliation per source
• Build outbound flows delivering the golden record to the data warehouse/lakehouse, Power BI, and other consumers
• Implement write-back to source systems via REST APIs, webhooks, or Profisee Connect, with error handling and retry logic
• Administer SQL Server, dev/test/prod environments, configuration deployments, and integration with Microsoft Entra ID
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for pipelines and platform
• Support the Functional Consultant with data profiling and large-volume matching tests; document the technical architecture and runbooks

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of data engineering on Azure
• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL
• Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric
• REST APIs, JSON, and authentication flows
• Python or C#
• Git and CI/CD practices

• Profisee or another MDM platform
• SAP integration (OData, IDoc, BAPI)
• Kubernetes and Azure networking
• Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC
• Power BI semantic models
• Experience with energy-sector systems (CIS, MDMS, GIS) and their data volumes
