We are looking for a Google Workspace Administrator to bring technical expertise to our team. In this hands-on role, you will act as a key operational bridge between daily support, project delivery teams, and senior team members, while mentoring junior staff, overseeing ServiceNow operations, streamlining project handoffs to operations, and maintaining platform health.

We are reshaping our Google Workspace environment. As Google Workspace continuously evolves with new features and capabilities, we are building a team of seasoned experts to guide us through an exciting transformation.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Platform Administration and Tooling: Perform day-to-day administration and management of core Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive/Shared Drives, Groups, Calendar resources, Meet, Forms, Sites) using Admin Console and GAM, including permissions, access reviews, and lifecycle activities.

  • Incident Resolution and Escalations: Fulfill operational requests and investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex collaboration, access, configuration, and service usage issues in close alignment with Tier 1 support and internal teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Service Desk, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Infrastructure teams to execute operational workflows and support the adoption and enforcement of established administrative guardrails, policies, and standards.

  • Platform Optimization and New Features: Monitor platform health to identify recurring issues, while participating in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new Google Workspace features, services, and process improvements.

  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles, facilitating active knowledge transfer with internal teams and external partners.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4+ to 7+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years of hands-on Google Workspace administration in a global environment.

  • Core Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience administering core Google Workspace services via Admin Console and GAM (or similar tools), including Gmail (mail flow/routing), Drive and Shared Drives (lifecycle and permissions), Groups, Calendar resources, Sites, Forms, Keep, and Tasks.

  • Enterprise Support and Troubleshooting: A proven track record handling service requests, incidents, and complex access or collaboration escalations, with strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with ITSM tools.

  • Identity and Infrastructure: Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (SSO, group-based access, provisioning workflows) and basic DNS record configurations relevant to Google Workspace services.

  • Technical Documentation: Demonstrated experience creating clear technical documentation, standard operating procedures, support steps, and knowledge base articles.

  • Technical knowledge (nice to have): Working knowledge of GCDS, as well as administrative or support exposure to Google AppScript and AppSheet.

  • The ability to work in a collaborative environment with evolving processes and operational practices.

  • Strong communication skills in French and English (spoken and written).

  • A Google Workspace Administrator certification or willingness to pursue certification is considered an asset.
