  • Partner with Risk, Security, Architecture, Finance, Legal, Privacy and other control functions to ensure delivery obligations are met and risks are appropriately managed.
  • Lead governance forums, gate reviews, approvals and oversight activities, while continuously improving governance processes, tools and supporting documentation.
  • Challenge assumptions, decisions and delivery approaches where governance expectations are not being met, and escalate material delivery risks and unresolved issues.
  • Develop governance dashboards, compliance reporting and executive-level insights on delivery health, governance adherence, risks and recurring trends.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency and disciplined execution across the enterprise.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise delivery governance, portfolio governance, operating model leadership, risk management, audit, assurance, delivery excellence or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of delivery lifecycles, portfolio oversight, risk management, controls and assurance practices.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, hold teams accountable and constructively challenge decisions using data, facts and sound reasoning.
  • Experience leading governance forums and providing clear, objective reporting and recommendations to executives.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance rigour with pragmatism.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, technology or another highly regulated environment is preferred.
  • Experience working with audit, compliance, architecture, security and regulatory stakeholders is preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-RMP, CRISC, CISSP, PRINCE2, COBIT, ITIL or an equivalent certification is considered an asset.
