DwyerOmega is a global leader in precision sensing, monitoring, and control technologies. Our portfolio spans pressure, temperature, flow, level, humidity, and gas detection solutions, serving industrial processing, building services, life sciences, utilities, manufacturing, and energy markets worldwide.

We are looking for a curious and motivated Graduate Data & AI Analyst to make data easier to find, trust and use across our Sensors Business Unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering and Quality, using data analysis, AI and automation to solve real business problems and improve how teams work.

About the role

You will help build practical AI tools, dashboards and automations that save colleagues time, improve decision-making and create a more reliable source of business information.

You will also support the organisation and governance of quality documents, part numbers and price lists, helping to ensure that important information is accurate, accessible and properly controlled.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and build practical AI tasks, agents and workflow automations.
  • Identify repetitive activities and develop reliable, documented solutions.
  • Test AI outputs for accuracy and introduce appropriate controls and safeguards.
  • Analyse technical and business data, including trends and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Create clear charts, reports and dashboards for non-technical audiences.
  • Support Sales and Finance teams with data analysis and automation.
  • Establish and maintain trusted sources for quality documents, part numbers and price lists.
  • Improve SharePoint structures, naming conventions, metadata and permissions.
  • Remove duplicate and outdated information while maintaining version control.
  • Deliver practical training, guidance and coaching to help colleagues use AI effectively.

Your first year

Your development will be structured around three key stages:

  • Months 1–3: Learn the business, map existing data sources and improve SharePoint organisation.
  • Months 4–6: Develop trusted data sources and deliver your first dashboards and reports.
  • Months 7–12: Roll out AI workflows across additional teams and deliver regular AI and productivity sessions.

You will receive training in ERP systems, data tools and AI development, with the opportunity to progress into a Data & AI Analyst role and, subsequently, Senior or Lead positions.

About you

You will have:

  • A degree, or be due to graduate soon, in data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or a related subject.
  • A good grounding in statistics and data analysis.
  • Confidence using Excel and working with large datasets.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
  • The ability to explain data and findings clearly to non-specialists.
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to documentation and version control.
  • Good written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A curious, practical and self-motivated approach to problem-solving.

Desirable experience

  • SharePoint or Microsoft 365, including Power Automate, Power BI or Teams.
  • Programming or scripting using Python, SQL or VBA.
  • SPC, Six Sigma, Lean or quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • A manufacturing, engineering or quality environment, including a placement or internship.
  • Building AI agents, prompts or workflow automations through university or personal projects.

You should be willing to travel occasionally to sites in the UK, Austria and the US.

Why join DwyerOmega?

This is an opportunity to take real responsibility from the outset, working on projects that will be used across the business. You will gain valuable experience at the intersection of data, AI, manufacturing and business improvement, supported by a structured development plan and experienced colleagues.

If you are excited by the potential of data and AI to make work simpler, smarter and more

effective, we would love to hear from you.
