About Us:
Founded in 2006, CACI Information Intelligence Group (IIG) is an exciting, growing and progressive business unit within CACI UK. We currently have over 700 intelligent, professional and engaging staff. Through a rigorous emphasis on quality, the company has grown considerably to become one of the UK’s most well-respected Software Engineering consultancies.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking looking for a talented and ambitious Graduate level Software Architect to join our growing Mood team within CACI Information Intelligence Group (IIG). Mood is a powerful low-code platform built on SQL Server that enables organisations to model data, design business processes, create user interfaces and visualisations, and deliver customer-facing solutions.
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to develop a career at the intersection of technology, architecture, business analysis and solution design. Working within agile delivery teams, you will help Defence and Government customers solve complex business and technical challenges. You will work alongside experienced Architects, Consultants and Developers to design, build and deliver innovative solutions using the Mood platform.
This role offers a unique blend of architecture, data modelling, low-code development and customer engagement. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and working directly with stakeholders to understand and shape requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support the design and delivery of business and technical solutions for Defence and Government customers.
- Work with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and solution design activities.
- Create and maintain data models, architecture artefacts and solution documentation.
- Configure and develop solutions within the Mood platform.
- Design user interfaces, dashboards, reports and visualisations to support customer decision-making.
- Contribute to business process modelling and systems integration activities.
- Collaborate with Architects, Consultants and Developers across multiple projects.
- Present ideas and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What we're looking for:
We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a genuine interest in technology and the ability to understand and solve complex problems.
You’ll bring:
- A 2:1 STEM degree, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to JavaScript (or similar) and SQL/relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of software development principles.
- A genuine interest in technology, systems and architecture, with the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging customers and stakeholders.
Above all, you’ll bring curiosity, enthusiasm and a drive to develop your technical skills.
Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
