Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Graphic Designer at DIGI-SAIL. The Graphic Designer intern will support the creation of visual assets for digital campaigns, branding projects, and logo concepts aligned with the company’s nautical and exploration themes. Day-to-day tasks include developing graphic layouts, refining typography choices, and assisting with branding guidelines and visual identity systems. The intern will collaborate with senior designers and other team members, receive feedback on design drafts, prepare files for digital use, and ensure consistency across all visual materials. This role offers hands-on experience in applying design principles to real projects while working within a flexible, remote environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create clear, visually appealing compositions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to develop distinctive visual identities and cohesive brand systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Typography, including selecting and pairing typefaces and ensuring readability and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma or similar) is beneficial.
- Foundational knowledge of design principles, color theory, and layout; portfolio showcasing relevant work is strongly preferred.
- Ability to take feedback constructively, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of a design-related program (e.g., graphic design, visual communication, digital media) is an advantage but not required.
