The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will bring ideas, information, and capabilities to life through clear, engaging visual storytelling. This role supports both the Training & Enablement and B2B Marketing teams, creating high-quality video, digital, and print materials for employee learning, sales enablement, and client acquisition.
Working closely with Training & Enablement, B2B Marketing, and Sales stakeholders, this role will develop onboarding and ongoing learning videos, sell-sheets, and sales materials for the SMB team, and brand and capabilities videos designed to support national and SMB client acquisition and brand awareness. The successful candidate will combine strong design craft with practical project management, translating business objectives and complex information into accessible, brand-aligned creative that works across channels.
Our ideal candidate:
- Uses visual storytelling to make complex products, processes, and value propositions easy to understand.
- Balances creative thinking with strong attention to detail, brand consistency, and business objectives.
- Creates polished video, motion, digital, and print assets from concept through final production.
- Collaborates effectively with Training & Enablement, Marketing, Sales, subject matter experts, and external partners.
- Manages multiple projects, feedback cycles, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Is comfortable working from a creative brief and can also help shape the visual approach when direction is still developing.
- Brings a service-oriented mindset and adapts creative for different audiences, including employees, SMB sellers, national sales teams, and prospective clients.
- Maintains organized source files, templates, asset libraries, and version control so materials can be updated and reused efficiently.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Training & Enablement to create engaging onboarding and ongoing learning videos for Sales and other internal audiences.
- Plan and produce training content, including storyboards, scripts or script support, screen recordings, graphics, animation, editing, captions, audio cleanup, and final delivery.
- Transform subject matter expertise and learning objectives into clear, well-paced visual experiences that support knowledge retention and practical application.
- Create sell-sheets, one-pagers, presentations, product overviews, case study layouts, and other sales enablement materials for the SMB team.
- Liquefy long-form marketing content by transforming reports, articles, guides, presentations, webinars, and other source materials into engaging short-form videos, whiteboard explainers, motion graphics, social content, and other campaign-ready assets.
- Adapt and optimize repurposed content for distribution across social media, email, websites, sales channels, and other marketing vehicles, tailoring format, length, and creative treatment to the audience and platform.
- Apply and uphold Postmedia brand standards while adapting layouts and creative approaches for specific audiences, formats, and channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify objectives, gather content and assets, establish timelines, and manage reviews and approvals.
- Edit and optimize video and design assets for accessibility, readability, file size, platform requirements, and consistent playback across devices.
- Create reusable templates and modular content systems that improve speed, consistency, and scalability across Training & Enablement and B2B Marketing.
- Manage project files, working files, licensed assets, final deliverables, and archives using consistent naming and version-control practices.
- Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, or production partners when specialized support is required.
- Stay current on design, video, motion graphics, learning-content, and B2B marketing best practices, and recommend practical improvements to the team.
Who you are:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia design, video production, marketing creative, learning content development, or a related field.
- A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia, film/video production, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video editing, visual storytelling, and the ability to adapt creative for different audiences and business needs.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, or comparable professional tools.
- Experience creating training, instructional, explainer, brand, product, or capabilities videos; experience with screen-recording or e-learning tools is an asset.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, information hierarchy, and brand systems across print and digital formats.
- Comfortable developing storyboards and working with scripts, voice-over, music, captions, motion graphics, and basic audio editing.
- Knowledge of accessibility practices for video and digital content, including captions, readable layouts, colour contrast, and accessible document design.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments, priorities, deadlines, and rounds of feedback with minimal supervision.
- A clear, collaborative communicator who can receive feedback constructively, explain creative decisions, and build strong working relationships across teams.
- Experience in media, advertising, B2B marketing, sales enablement, or corporate learning is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint and Teams, is considered an asset.
