Description

Verveware is looking for a talented, motivated Graphic Designer to join our team full time. In this role you'll apply user-centered design principles to visual communication, information hierarchy, and interface design across our home care platform. You'll work on everything from wireframes, prototypes, and our reusable design system to logos, branding, and motion assets. Our startup moves fast, and your work will directly shape how agencies and caregivers understand, trust, and use our products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO, other designers, software developers, and marketing to understand project requirements and user needs.
  • Turn product requirements into wireframes, responsive layouts, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications in Figma.
  • Design every interface state for each workflow, including default, hover, focus, selected, disabled, loading, success, warning, validation, error, and empty.
  • Build and maintain a reusable design system, including components, patterns, and Figma variables and tokens.
  • Design clear feedback for success, failure, validation, warnings, and edge cases that affect task completion.
  • Develop logos, branding, and visual standards that communicate the brand's message and keep it consistent across products.
  • Create animated interface and promotional assets in Jitter or After Effects, using motion design principles, timing, and transitions.
  • Run user research and usability testing, and use the feedback to improve designs.
  • Review built screens for usability, accessibility, and consistency, and maintain organized asset libraries and documentation.
  • Keep up with the latest graphic design, UI/UX, and accessibility trends, techniques, and tools.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design or Information Studies.
  • Strong skills in Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Experience with motion design tools such as Jitter or After Effects.
  • A solid understanding of UI/UX, visual design, and accessibility principles and best practices.
  • The ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in industry-standard design tools.
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills, with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work well.
  • A portfolio of past design work and projects.
