GraphQL Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer to build and scale reliable systems for our clients. At smaXtec, we develop a cloud -based health monitoring system that improves herd health using AI and smart algorithms. If you’re passionate about GraphQL, user experience, and high -quality design, this is your opportunity Design and build robust backend systems using NestJS Architect scalable solutions using modern patterns in a cloud native environment (n -tier, microservices, event - driven, hexagonal) Work with PostgreSQL and Redis, including query optimization and schema refactoring Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs (queries, mutations, subscriptions) Tackle complex technical challenges with a strong problem-solving mindset Technical education (HTL, Computer Science, Software Development) and at least 5 years of experience Solid experience with TypeScript and Node.js Advanced backend architecture knowledge Strong database expertise ( SQL, PostgreSQL , Redis) Deep understanding of GraphQL • Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills Nice to have: Experience with Nest.js, Kafka , Kubernetes, interest for React and/or React Native High -impact work in an agile, international Scale -Up environment.
