Role Description The Greek Transcriber \ QA Reviewer is a full-time remote role focused on producing and validating high-quality Greek-language transcripts and related content. Day-to-day responsibilities include listening to audio and video files in Greek, accurately transcribing spoken content, and ensuring adherence to style guides, formatting standards, and project-specific instructions. The role also involves performing quality assurance reviews on transcripts produced by other contributors, identifying and correcting errors in spelling, grammar, meaning, and timing. The Greek Transcriber \ QA Reviewer collaborates with project managers and other language professionals, meets defined productivity and accuracy targets, and maintains strict confidentiality and data security across all assigned projects.
Qualifications

• Strong Greek language proficiency, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and good comprehension of different accents and speaking styles.
• Experience in transcription workflows, including audio/video transcription, timestamping, formatting, and adherence to style guides.
• Background in quality assurance or content review, with the ability to evaluate accuracy, consistency, and clarity of Greek-language content.
• Comfort working with transcription, QA, and collaboration tools, and ability to learn new platforms and software efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and project specifications.
• Reliable internet connection, a quiet work environment, and capability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in linguistic services, localization, or similar roles is beneficial; familiarity with AI-assisted transcription is a plus.
• Relevant education or training in linguistics, translation, communication, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience.
