Role Description The Greek Transcriber (Remote) is a full-time role focused on accurately listening to and transcribing audio and video content in Greek. Day-to-day tasks include converting spoken Greek into written text, verifying transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting, and applying project-specific guidelines and style conventions. The role involves handling various content types (such as business, technical, and media recordings), time-stamping where required, and annotating or labeling data to support AI training and localization projects. The Greek Transcriber will collaborate with project managers and quality reviewers, meet deadlines, and maintain strict data confidentiality while working remotely.
Qualifications

• Strong Greek language proficiency, including excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and listening comprehension.
• Proficiency in transcription practices, including fast and accurate typing, familiarity with transcription tools, and attention to audio details.
• Comfort working with digital platforms and productivity tools, such as audio players, word processors, and project management systems.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow style guides and project instructions consistently.
• Strong time management skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Good English reading and communication skills to understand project briefs and collaborate with global teams.
• Experience with transcription, localization, or AI data annotation is preferred but not required.
• Stable internet connection, a suitable computer or laptop, and a quiet environment for focused listening and transcription work.
