Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Greek Transcription professional. In this role, you will listen to Greek audio or video recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text, following project-specific style guides and formatting rules. You will review and correct automated or draft transcriptions, ensure proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation in Greek, and maintain high quality standards and consistency across assignments. Day-to-day tasks include handling multiple transcription projects, meeting deadlines, collaborating with project managers, and securely managing client data in accordance with platform guidelines. You may also be asked to flag audio quality issues, clarify ambiguous content, and provide feedback to help improve transcription workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong Greek language skills, including excellent listening comprehension, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Proficiency in transcription practices, such as typing speed and accuracy, formatting, and adherence to style guides.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access, using transcription software and productivity tools effectively.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with audio and video files, basic troubleshooting of playback tools, and handling sensitive information responsibly.
• English reading and communication skills to understand project instructions and collaborate with global teams.
• Prior experience in transcription, localization, or language services is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Availability to work on a contract basis with flexibility to take on varying workloads.
