Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Greek Transcription Freelancer. The role involves listening to Greek audio or video recordings and accurately transcribing spoken content into written form, following project-specific formatting and style guidelines. Daily tasks include verifying audio clarity, identifying speakers, correcting grammar and spelling, and ensuring accurate representation of specialized terminology where required. The freelancer will also review and revise transcripts based on feedback, maintain confidentiality of all materials, and manage deadlines across multiple projects using the DatoviaPlayHouse platform.
Qualifications

• Strong Greek language proficiency, including excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation; solid comprehension of regional accents and dialects.
• Ability to accurately transcribe spoken Greek into written text, including careful listening skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with transcription tools, text editors, and audio/video playback software; capability to work with time stamps and basic formatting requirements.
• Good command of English for project instructions and communication with clients and the DatoviaPlayHouse team.
• Reliable internet connection, suitable hardware (computer, headset), and a quiet work environment for focused listening and transcription.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a remote freelance setting; capacity to handle multiple assignments when needed.
• Prior experience in transcription, localization, or language services is an advantage, especially with Greek media, business, or technical content.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection best practices for handling sensitive or proprietary content.
