About the role
Grok Bot gives teams AI colleagues that run on their own computers, work across apps and tools, and handle real tasks like outbound sales, campaigns, and ops. You'll build the systems that make these agents reliable, capable, and safe to trust with real work.
Responsibilities
• Build and ship agent capabilities: tool use, computer/browser control, long-running tasks, memory, and multi-agent collaboration
• Develop integrations with enterprise tools (CRMs, email, chat, ticketing, internal platforms)
• Design evals and monitoring to measure agent reliability, cost, and latency
• Build the human-in-the-loop flows that decide when an agent should ask for approval
• Work with research and product teams to turn new model capabilities into shipped features
• Debug and harden production agents at scale
Requirements
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python and/or TypeScript; distributed systems a plus)
• Hands-on experience building LLM agents or agentic products in production
• Experience with tool/function calling, sandboxed execution, and orchestration
• Track record of shipping quickly and owning projects end to end
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-intensity environment
Nice to have: browser automation or RL environments, enterprise integrations, developer-tools background, evals or safety experience
Scouting and sourcing ideas
• Agent-product engineers at well-known AI labs and agent-product companies
• Be mindful of internal-mobility dynamics among engineers at companies that have recently changed ownership
• Computer-use and browser-agent builders from browser-automation companies, agent-tooling alumni, and open-source agent communities
• Enterprise integration engineers from workflow-automation companies
Starter Boolean string (LinkedIn/GitHub):
("agent" OR "agents" OR "agentic") AND ("tool use" OR "computer use" OR "browser automation") AND (LLM OR "language model") AND (Python OR TypeScript)
Heads up: reports say we have had significant AI leadership turnover this year, so expect candidates to ask about team stability.
Skills
Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript with hands-on experience building LLM agents or agentic products in production, including tool/function calling, sandboxed execution, and orchestration.
