Through our Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Evening IOP, and Outpatient programs, we provide a continuum of care that supports each client's unique path toward healing and resilience in Illinois.
The Opportunity
Resilience IL is seeking a Part-Time Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic group sessions during evening hours and on Saturdays. This hybrid position is an opportunity for a behavioral health professional who enjoys facilitating group discussions, supporting clients in their treatment journey, and collaborating with a clinical team.
Compensation is $100 per group facilitated for evening and Saturday sessions. The role requires availability during nighttime hours and weekends.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate structured therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions, encouraging meaningful participation and engagement.
- Create a supportive, respectful, and therapeutic group environment where clients feel comfortable sharing experiences and developing coping skills.
- Guide group discussions and activities that support clients' behavioral health treatment goals.
- Complete accurate, organized, and timely documentation of group sessions, including attendance, participation, and relevant clinical observations.
- Monitor group dynamics and respond appropriately to client needs and concerns during sessions.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain continuity of care and support treatment objectives.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards throughout group sessions.
Requirements
Required
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in behavioral health, counseling, or a related clinical setting.
- Strong clinical documentation skills, with the ability to complete records accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to facilitate therapeutic discussions while maintaining a structured, supportive, and professional group environment.
- Availability to facilitate evening and Saturday group sessions under a hybrid work arrangement.
Preferred
- Previous experience leading or facilitating therapeutic groups in a behavioral health or counseling setting.
