Group Financial Accountant

TOM People are exclusively partnering with our a multinational high growth company to identify a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team, in a newly created role to facilitate growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad role within a dynamic and growing organisation. Role reports directly into the Head of Finance and also has exposure to the senior leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting
• Supporting the group consolidation process
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with ongoing projects.
• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis
• Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 0-2 years PQE
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred
• Experience operating in a multi-entity or group reporting environment would be advantageous

Hybrid working based in South Dublin, 3 days per week.
