Shape the future of safety at Axpo: lead the development of our Group-wide OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) reporting framework and turn data into insights that protect people across our international operations.

What you will do:

  • Support the development and implementation of a Group-wide OHS performance and reporting system with methodological expertise, and process knowledge

  • Lead the definition of OHS requirements, train people and organizations based on internationally recognised metrics such as LTIF

  • Harmonise central and decentralised reporting across both Switzerland and international locations through standardized processes, a simple tool landscape, and data-quality controls

  • Analyse and communicate OHS performance, trends and material deviations through clear dashboards and reports for senior management and relevant management boards

  • Provide functional leadership and expert sparring to the OHS dotted-line network, including Business Areas and subsidiaries

  • Maintain and refine an appropriate, proportionate OHS performance framework

  • Translate OHS insights into risk-based priorities and decision-ready management reporting

What you bring & who you are:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Occupational Health & Safety, ideally in an international and/or operationally complex organization

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, HSE, safety engineering or a comparable field – recognised OHS certifications are a plus

  • Experience designing and improving international OHS performance and reporting systems

  • Knowledge of internationally recognised OHS standards and relevant sustainability reporting requirements

  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Group Functions, Business Areas, subsidiaries and the OHS network

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights

  • Fluent in English and German, written and spoken

About the team:

You'll work closely with Group Security and the OHS dotted-line network across Axpo's Business Areas and subsidiaries – a collaborative, international team that values diverse perspectives and shared responsibility for safety.
