About the Role

The Group Reporting Manager owns the integrity, completeness and timeliness of group consolidation and financial reporting for the Group. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge and audit experience. Attention to detail and disciplined deadline management are essential.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Own the Group consolidation process, including FX translation, intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated results.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting packs, Holding Company management accounts and external reporting for banks, insurers, investors, regulators and other stakeholders.

  • Provide technical accounting expertise across the Group, ensuring compliance with IFRS and accounting policies, and leading assessments covering acquisitions, intangible assets and changes in accounting standards.

  • Coordinate finance onboarding for new acquisitions, including reporting requirements, accounting policies, Chart of Accounts mapping, consolidation processes and opening balances.

  • Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts, coordinate external audits, and oversee Corporation Tax, R&D tax and other statutory, regulatory and tax submissions.

  • Own the D365 Chart of Accounts and maintain strong reporting controls, data integrity, audit evidence and process governance across the Group.

  • Drive improvements across reporting, consolidation and technical accounting processes, while managing and developing one direct report and building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.


Required Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant, with strong technical accounting experience.

  • Proven experience coordinating external audits and managing high-quality audit evidence to deadline.
