About the job

We’re looking for a Group Tax Manager to join our Finance team in Etoy, Switzerland.

This international role combines tax and finance expertise with the opportunity to contribute to strategic Group projects and our broader Finance transformation. The role currently covers Europe, the U.S. and Latin America, working in close collaboration with our Group Tax team in Japan covering Asia.

The job’s mission

As Group Tax Manager, your mission will be to execute our Group-wide tax strategy, working closely with the Group Head of Tax and teams across the business.

You will bring expertise across international tax, transfer pricing, operational and local tax to help shape effective solutions, drive key initiatives, and strengthen Tax as a strategic partner to the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the Group-wide tax strategy and co-steer the roadmap with the Group Head of Tax, translating strategic priorities into concrete projects, plans, and deliverables.
  • Lead international tax and transfer pricing activities across the covered regions, including transfer pricing policy implementation, intercompany pricing, operating-model changes, withholding taxes, treaties, and permanent establishment matters.
  • Coordinate operational and local tax matters with regional finance teams and external advisors, ensuring alignment between tax, finance, and business operations.
  • Represent Group Tax in finance transformation initiatives, contributing to management reporting, data harmonization, consolidation, and ERP projects.
  • Strengthen the integration of tax into financial reporting and controls, including tax accounting, close processes, consolidation, and the Group Tax Control Framework.
  • Execute corporate and holding-structure projects, including legal-entity rationalization, financing, withholding-tax and treaty optimization, and repatriation.
  • Lead tax workstreams related to M&A and post-merger integration, from due diligence and structuring through integration into the Group’s operating and tax model.
  • Drive tax planning initiatives, including ETR and cash-tax optimization, tax attributes, incentives, and scenario modeling.
  • Manage tax audits and controversy matters, while supporting APA, MAP, rulings, valuation, and restructuring documentation where required.
  • Explore opportunities related to investment incentives, subsidies, grants, and VAT optimization.
  • Embed AI- and data-enabled ways of working within Group Tax and manage external advisors with a strong focus on value, quality, and knowledge transfer.

What we’re looking for

Qualifications & experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field, combined with a recognized professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CTA/ADIT, Swiss Certified Tax Expert, or equivalent.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally combining Big Four and in-house experience in an international environment.
  • Strong expertise in international tax and transfer pricing, with proven delivery of complex cross-border tax projects.
  • Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge, with experience across financial reporting, consolidation, and tax accounting.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and with cross-functional stakeholders; finance transformation experience is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English; French, German, Spanish, or Japanese is an advantage.
  • Confident use of digital, data, and AI tools in finance or tax.

Competencies

  • A pragmatic, business-minded approach and strong commercial judgment.
  • A hands-on, accountable mindset with the ability to move from strategy to execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across functions, regions, and cultures.
  • A positive approach to change, combined with strong communication and emotional intelligence.
