About Us
We create impactful educational technology that helps children fall in love with reading. Our core product is a literacy learning app designed for kids aged 4 to 9. We bridge the gap between structured phonics education and delightful gameplay. As we prepare to scale, we are looking for a data-driven, creative App Marketing Manager to own our user acquisition, App Store Optimization (ASO), and parent engagement strategies.
Role Overview
In this role, you will dual-target the buyers (parents) and the users (children) to accelerate our growth. You will own the entire lifecycle of our app, from the first impression in the app store to long-term subscription retention. The ideal candidate has experience navigating COPPA/privacy guidelines and knows how to communicate educational value to parents.
Key Responsibilities
· Paid User Acquisition: Design, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Meta, Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, and Pinterest to acquire high-lifetime-value (LTV) users.
· App Store Optimization (ASO): Lead the strategy for keyword optimization, A/B testing store assets, and optimizing screenshots to maximize conversion rates on the App Store and Google Play.
· Lifecycle & Retention Marketing: Develop and manage email campaigns, push notifications, and parent dashboards to reduce churn and convert free trial users into active subscribers.
· Data & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on core mobile KPIs including CPI, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and day-7/day-30 retention using mobile measurement partners (MMPs).
· Compliance & Safety: Ensure all digital marketing initiatives and tracking strictly adhere to COPPA and GDPR children's privacy regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience: 3+ years of dedicated mobile app marketing experience (EdTech, kids/family apps, or subscription-based mobile products highly preferred).
· Paid Ads Expertise: Proven track record of managing and scaling 5-figure monthly ad budgets with a strong focus on positive ROI.
· Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with mobile tech stacks, including MMPs (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust), product analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude), and ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower).
· Creative Instincts: Ability to brief designers on creative assets that appeal emotionally to parents while respecting the playful nature of a children's product.
· Communication: Exceptional copywriting skills tailored to parents, educators, and early childhood advocates.
What We Offer
· Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
· Remote-first/flexible working environment.
· Health, dental, and wellness benefits.
· The opportunity to work on a product that directly improves early childhood literacy.
Applications are open until September 11, 2026.
