Show job description

At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.

AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration. Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working. Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you'll do

Are you passionate about a future that exceeds your expectations? Here, at AlixPartners your passion becomes your career. We work in smaller and more senior teams that bring deep industry and functional knowledge to our clients. You will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with clients to address the issues that sit at the top of their agendas - and often become front-page news.

AlixPartners is expanding its Growth team, within the Performance practice, in Buenos Aires. In this role, you will be delivering growth strategies and commercial excellence outcomes for external clients, working closely with colleagues across geographies.

You will be a part of workstreams that drive top-line growth and EBITDA improvement for clients in industrial, distribution, services, and consumer-facing sectors, across healthy, underperforming, and distressed situations. Typical work includes:

  • Price diagnostics, including waterfall and leakage analysis, discount and rebate effectiveness, and price dispersion
  • Price strategy and governance, including price architecture, deal approval processes, and price increase programs
  • Value-based pricing, elasticity analysis, and customer and product profitability (cost-to-serve)
  • Customer segmentation, coverage and channel strategy, and route-to-market redesign
  • Distributor and partner management
  • Growth opportunity sizing and commercial business cases for clients and PE sponsors
  • Sales productivity diagnostics, including territory and account design, sales capacity, and pipeline management and KPIs
  • Incentive compensation, sales process, and CRM-enabled sales operations
  • Commercial tool selection and implementation support (pricing, CRM, CPQ)
  • Marketing spend optimization, customer analytics (segmentation, CLV, churn), and promotion effectiveness

In every area, you will structure problems independently, analyze large commercial and transactional datasets, write client-ready materials, present to senior client stakeholders, and contribute to proposals and business development with US teams.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar. An MBA or Master’s is preferred.
  • +4 years of business experience, including at least 3 years in growth strategy or commercial excellence, gained through one or both of these: consulting experience at a strategy or commercial specialist firm and/or industry experience in a commercial excellence, pricing, revenue management, or sales strategy function, preferably B2B.
  • Experience across more than one offering area, for example pricing combined with GTM or salesforce effectiveness is preferred.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end delivery of commercial improvement projects, from data and diagnostic through recommendation, implementation, and measured financial impact. Hands-on pricing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong commercial analytics skills, including advanced Excel. SQL, Power Bi, Tableau, Phyton or R are a plus.
  • Ability to produce independently from day one with limited local support, and comfort owning a workstream end to end.
  • Experience coaching junior colleagues, and interest in helping grow the Buenos Aires practice is a plus.
  • Experience implementing pricing software, CRM, or CPQ tools is a plus.
  • Experience in PE portfolio companies, turnarounds, or post-merger commercial integration is a plus.
  • Prior experience serving US clients remotely or in a dispersed team is a plus.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to lead discussions with US executives and write client-ready materials in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, adapt quickly, and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to synthesize analysis into clear recommendations, balancing strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior audiences and build trusted relationships.
  • High energy, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes, and geographically dispersed team environments.
  • Authorization to work in Argentina and travel internationally without restrictions ; willingness to work US business hours and travel to the US and LATAM as needed.
