Orchid is a Y Combinator-backed AI company that has reached millions of people through viral launches, content, and internet-native growth.
We’re looking for a Growth Intern who wants to learn every part of how an early-stage company grows — sales, marketing, partnerships, content, experiments, and everything in between.
This is not a narrow internship.
One day you might be reaching out to potential customers. The next you might be filming content, helping run a launch, interviewing founders, building a growth experiment, or finding a completely new acquisition channel.
- Help run growth experiments across sales, content, partnerships, outbound, and community
- Talk to potential customers and help with sales
- Write outbound, follow up with leads, and help move deals forward
- Brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns
- Help produce short-form videos and social content
- Be comfortable appearing on camera
- Interview founders, customers, and interesting people
- Help with launches, events, and IRL activations
- Research new audiences, channels, and partnership opportunities
- Track what’s working and double down quickly
- Jump into whatever growth problem matters most that week
- High-agency, ambitious, and extremely resourceful
- Comfortable with both sales and marketing
- Confident talking to strangers
- Comfortable being on camera
- Strong communicator
- Internet-native and understand what gets attention online
- Creative enough to come up with ideas, but practical enough to execute them
- Not afraid of cold outreach or rejection
- Willing to try weird experiments and move quickly
- Able to figure things out without being given step-by-step instructions
Experience with startups, sales, content creation, growth, or running your own projects is a plus, but not required.
Current students, recent grads, and other early-career candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
We care much more about energy, intelligence, creativity, and initiative than credentials.
You’ll work directly with the founding team and get exposure to almost every part of growing an early-stage startup.
You won’t spend the internship watching from the sidelines. You’ll be expected to sell, create, experiment, talk to users, and ship things that actually move the company forward.
Send us:
- A little about yourself
- Something you’ve built, sold, grown, or created
- Your social accounts, if relevant
- One growth experiment you think Orchid should try
Your initiative matters more than your résumé.
