Our mobile-first app puts users in full control of their own savings no banks, no borders, no middlemen. By blending radical simplicity with transparent, stable growth mechanisms, Sovra makes saving effortless: anyone can set aside funds, watch their balance grow, and access their money instantly whenever they need it. Designed for the unbanked, the underserved, and anyone seeking a better way to grow their wealth, Sovra delivers a seamless, trustworthy experience that feels as familiar as your favorite consumer app. The Role Were hiring a Growth Lead to own Sovras go-to-market execution in Lebanon. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments: resourceful, data-driven, and creative in mobilizing users. Youll work closely with the CEO, Product, and Design teams (with strategic support from a fractional CMO). Your mandate: deliver 10,000 funded users in Lebanon within the next 12 months, achieve >70% retention, and maintain efficient CAC. This role starts as an individual contributor with strong execution ownership and has the potential to grow into a leadership position as Sovra scales. Key Responsibilities Growth & Acquisition Design and run referral, ambassador, and voucher programs (including Sovra gift cards). Launch grassroots campaigns (campus reps, local shops, micro-influencers, offline activations). Manage digital acquisition channels, including WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Experiment with incentives and campaigns to deliver >70% retention of funded users. Community & Retention Build and manage engaged communities (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) that drive activation and retention. Foster referral loops and ambassador engagement to boost conversion to funded accounts. Translate user research and community insights into actionable product feedback for Product & Design teams. Communications & Brand Act as custodian of Sovras brand in partnership with the fractional CMO: uphold brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging consistency across all channels. Support storytelling, educational, and trust-building content that makes Sovra simple and credible for users. Collaborate with influencers and media outlets to expand Sovras reach while protecting brand positioning. Partnerships Identify and secure local partnerships that can accelerate Sovras user growth and distribution (e.g., retail outlets, community orgs, student networks). Structure partnership activations to align with Sovras growth and brand objectives. Data & Optimization Track and analyze acquisition funnel metrics (funded accounts, referral funded conversion rates, CAC). Run A/B tests, iterate rapidly, and report weekly on performance. Provide structured insights to inform growth priorities and product roadmap. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Product, Design, and Tech to ensure the growth experience and product experience are aligned. Contribute to the development of features that directly enhance acquisition and retention. KPIs (Success Metrics) 10,000 funded accounts in Lebanon within 12 months. >70% retention rate of funded accounts. Efficient CAC (benchmarked and tracked quarterly). Growth in referral funded conversion rates. High engagement across community and communication channels. At least 5 strategic local partnerships activated within the first year. Qualifications Must-Have 35 years in growth, marketing, or community roles at a consumer startup (fintech, payments, mobile app, or adjacent). Proven track record running grassroots campaigns, referral mechanics, or ambassador programs. Knowledge of performance marketing and KPI tracking (CAC, retention, cohort analysis, funnel optimization). Hands-on community management experience (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, or similar). Strong execution skills: resourceful, creative, and comfortable with low-budget, high-impact growth. Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong understanding of MENA market dynamics. Nice-to-Have Prior experience in fintech or crypto marketing. Background in influencer partnerships and community activation. Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Braze, etc.). What We Offer Competitive salary + equity Hybrid work environment in Beirut. High-impact role on a lean, mission-driven team with strong growth potential. Pathway to grow into a leadership role as Sovra scales.
