About Fantastic.jobs

Fantastic.jobs is a job-data API. Every month we collect, deduplicate and enrich more than 10 million job postings directly from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems, and deliver them through a single API to the companies building job boards, AI job-search and matching products, HR tech, sales-intelligence tools and labour-market analytics.

Our goal is to be the number one job-data provider, and we are hiring the team to get there.

The role

Most of our growth so far is inbound and self-serve. Developers and companies find us through organic search, paid search, AI assistants and developer marketplaces, and sign up without talking to anyone.

We now want to know exactly which channels bring in our best customers, and invest behind it.

We are a small, profitable team. Founder Remco Strijdonk works full-time on the business with Kevin Sahin and Pierre de Wulf, who joined in 2026. Kevin and Pierre previously built and sold ScrapingBee, and they have worked in the web data industry for 10 years.

They are now co-owner of the business. You will be our first growth hire. Your job is to turn this inbound demand into an acquisition engine we can measure and scale.

For the first 6 to 12 months you will do the work yourself, alongside the leadership team. When a channel shows that it works, you will scale it: bring in freelancers or agencies, build a team behind it, and create the processes to run it.

Your North Star metric is the number of new paying customers per month.

What you will do

  • Set up attribution from the first visit to a paid account (analytics, UTMs, Stripe, CRM, offline conversions for paid search), so we can judge every channel on the customers and revenue it brings. We’d like this running within your first 30 days.
  • Test channels and scale the ones that work: SEO and content, programmatic pages, visibility in LLMs and AI search, paid search, developer marketplaces, integrations and partnerships, targeted outbound.
  • Own the self-serve funnel: signup, activation, trial-to-paid conversion, and moving customers from monthly to annual plans.
  • Run Google Ads and other paid channels against set budgets, CAC and payback targets.
  • Use our customer data to sharpen the ICP, spot product-qualified leads and support our first enterprise deals, as we build a sales-led motion next to self-serve.
  • Publish reports built on our job data, plus developer content, that earn backlinks, citations and press.
  • Work with the leadership team on messaging, segment landing pages, pricing, case studies and comparison pages.
  • Brief and manage freelancers, writers and agencies (link building or design, for example), and help us decide what to keep in-house.
  • Send a weekly update on new customers, channel performance, running experiments and next steps.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in growth or performance marketing at a B2B SaaS company, ideally selling developer tools, APIs or data products.
  • A track record of building at least one acquisition channel yourself, with numbers to back it up.
  • You do the work yourself: you can configure analytics, launch and optimise a campaign and ship a landing page without waiting on anyone.
  • You are at ease with numbers and with GA4 or an equivalent, Google Ads, tag management and a CRM. SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with a product-led motion; exposure to a sales-led or hybrid model is a strong plus.
  • Comfort talking to developers and technical buyers, and enough technical curiosity to understand an API and its use cases.
  • Excellent written English.

Nice to have

  • You were an early or first marketing hire at a startup.
  • Experience with SEO at scale, programmatic content or AI-search optimisation.
  • Experience with account-based marketing, enrichment tools such as Clay or Apollo, or outbound.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment, HR tech or data market.

What we offer

  • €5,000 to €7,000 gross per month for employees (employment through Deel in your country), or an equivalent monthly rate if you prefer to work as a contractor. Final figure depends on experience. There will also be a performance bonus.
  • Fully remote within Europe, so that we share working hours.
  • Real ownership. You report directly to the leadership team.
  • A small, senior team, with in-person team weeks a few times a year.
  • A role that can grow into leading marketing as the team expands.

Hiring process

  1. Intro call with a member of the leadership team (30 minutes).
  2. Deep dive on your past channels and results (45 minutes).
  3. Final round with the full leadership team: you present how you would approach your first 90 days at Fantastic.jobs.
  4. Reference checks and offer.

We aim to complete the process within three weeks.
