Key Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Execute and improve Hardcover's inbound go-to-market strategy.
- Research keywords, search demand, competitors, industries, and customer pain points.
- Create, optimize, and publish SEO-focused landing pages, articles, FAQs, and industry content.
- Manage and improve website content through WordPress and on-page SEO.
- Monitor Google Search Console, analytics, rankings, traffic, and content performance.
- Research customer conversations across Google, Reddit, LinkedIn, and relevant industry communities.
- Identify new opportunities for content, lead generation, industries, niches, and acquisition channels.
- Repurpose customer insights, sales conversations, and internal knowledge into useful content.
- Support and execute GTM, demand-generation, and marketing experiments.
- Track results, identify what works, and continuously improve campaigns and content.
- Take ownership of projects and proactively identify opportunities to generate traffic, inquiries, and customers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content marketing, growth marketing, or GTM operations.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to write for a U.S. business audience.
- Experience with SEO, keyword research, content creation, and website optimization.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve productivity and research.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Comfortable learning new industries, technical topics, and tools quickly.
- Willing to experiment, analyze results, and continuously improve.
- Ability to identify opportunities without requiring constant direction.
- Insurance experience is not required; willingness to learn the industry is essential.
- Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, CRM, automation, or reporting tools is a plus.
