About the Role
As our GTM Engineer, you’ll own the full data journey a prospect takes through Serif — from the moment they first show up as a signal, through conversion, routing, and the ultimate outcome of the deal. Embedded with our marketing team, you’ll build the automations and AI-powered tools that speed up our response to new leads and sharpen how we score them, and you’ll own the data hygiene that keeps that information trustworthy as it moves from marketing into sales.
This is a brand-new function at Serif. There’s no existing playbook to inherit — you’ll be writing it, in close partnership with the teams who rely on it every day.
What You’ll Bring
~3 years of experience in growth or GTM marketing, marketing/revenue operations, or a technical growth role
Solid proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and SQL — you’re comfortable writing custom webhooks, connecting APIs, and shipping small pieces of serverless code when no-code tools like Zapier, Make, or n8n hit their limits
Real hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM
Some experience with an enrichment or sales-engagement tool such as Clay, Apollo, Outreach, or Instantly
Some experience putting AI into practice in a real workflow — you don’t need deep expertise in agentic systems, just genuine hands-on exposure
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks or another modern data warehouse
Experience deploying on Vercel or working with CMS platforms like Webflow
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and UTM-based attribution tracking
Experience with reverse ETL tools (e.g., Hightouch, Census)
Background in healthcare, healthtech, or B2B SaaS
If you have one, we’d love to see a portfolio or a few work samples — an enrichment pipeline you built, a scoring or routing workflow, even a quick Loom walkthrough. Anonymized or rounded metrics are completely fine.
