Who we are

CV Labs is the product and growth studio inside CanadaVisa, Canada's immigration engine. Our ecosystem reaches 1.5 million visitors a month, runs the country's largest immigration peer community, and sits on a licensed law firm that has practised since 1976.

We're building an AI-native law firm. Software handles the repetitive work behind the scenes, and a small group of exceptional people hold the trust and the judgment.

The problem

Demand grew faster than what our existing system could handle. A team of salespeople and BDRs now sell across several service units: citizenship, inadmissibility, work permit, and our core immigration practice. Each unit's team built its own way to capture, route and follow up with leads. Some of it is excellent. Some of it lives in one person's head, in a smart view nobody else can find, or in a workflow with no owner.

We want one person to own the revenue system end to end. You'll audit what we have, decide what stays, and rebuild the rest so that the service units can be operated without any friction and new units can be launched simply by plugging into the existing system.

What you'll do

You'll own the revenue system across every CV Labs service unit, from the first form fill to the signed retainer to referrals. You'll start by auditing what we have, then build the workflows, agents and tools our salespeople use every day. You'll ship with Claude Code, Cursor or whatever tool fits the job, and you'll keep owning each build after it goes live.

Fix the foundation (your first 90 days)

  • Audit every unit's funnel from ad click to signed retainer across our tech stack. In your first month, you'll hand us a map of what runs, what's broken and what nobody owns, with a ranked list of action items.

  • Audit and improve the attribution model by working closely with our AI engineer. When a lawyer signs a retainer, anyone on the team should be able to trace it to the ad, article or referral that contributed to the won client.

  • Set one standard for statuses, pipelines, custom fields and smart views across units, and retire the workflows nobody owns. You'll also keep our communication setup healthy: rep domains, mailbox authentication, SMS, dialers, and deliverability.

Build the system reps work in

  • Design routing and speed-to-lead across units: which rep gets which lead, how fast they reach out, and what happens when nobody picks it up.

  • Build follow-up plays that react to what a lead does. An email bounces, and the lead gets a text. A consult no-shows, and the rep gets a rescue task with the history attached.

  • Build AI agents inside the rep's day: pre-call briefs from the lead's past communication, data written back to CRM based on the phone conversation, follow-up drafts a rep approves before sending, and CRM hygiene that runs overnight.

Keep it running and make it repeatable

  • Own a ranked backlog of agents, workflows and internal tools across units. You'll scope each build, ship a prototype in days, measure it, then keep it or kill it.

  • Set a success metric before you build: rep hours saved, speed-to-lead, show rate or retainers won. After launch, you own evaluation, monitoring, cost per run and a fallback for when a model or an API fails.

  • Set the guardrails a law firm needs. Anything a client reads runs on copy a lawyer approved, no automation gives legal advice, and client data stays in approved systems with the right access.

  • When CanadaVisa opens a new service unit, you'll stand up its pipeline, routing and reporting from a template you built.

How you'll work

You'll pair with one of our AI engineers, who specializes in data. They own the data layer (e.g., the warehouse). You own the revenue system on top of it: the CRM, workflows, routing, rep-facing tools, agents, and the definitions everyone reports against. You'll design together and ship on your own.

Your scoreboard

  • Rep hours you return from admin work

  • Speed-to-lead and follow-up coverage in every unit

  • Share of won retainers with an attribution model

  • Weekly/monthly revenue report that sales, growth and leadership trust

Who we're looking for

  • You've run GTM engineering for a sales team of 15 or more, and you've built a system around a CRM or have rebuilt a CRM.

  • You're a (vibe) coding expert. You build with Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools every week, and people at your last company use things you shipped this way.

  • You read the code, you test it, and you keep secrets and client data out of prompts and repos.

  • You connect tools through APIs and webhooks without waiting on engineering.

  • You prune. Before you add a workflow, you check whether an old one should go.

  • You write process docs a GTM team can follow on first read.

  • You treat reps as your users. You sit in on calls, watch how they work and build for what you see.

Bonus points

  • CRM admin experience

  • Microsoft 365 automation (Power Automate, Bookings, Exchange)

  • Legal, financial services or another regulated industry

Where this goes

You'd be the first person in this seat. As CV Labs launches new service units, you'll decide how each one goes to market on day one. Depending on what you build, this seat grows into a revenue operations team or a broader GTM engineering function. You'll work every day with growth leadership, the sales team and the people who run the company.

Compensation and process

  • $130k to $150k CAD depending on expertise and experience

  • Toronto-based, hybrid

  • Flexible vacation and a team that measures you on output

  • Competitive health, dental and wellness coverage

  • Our process includes a working session. We'll give you a sanitized export of a real funnel problem, and you'll walk us through what you'd build.

Why CV Labs

You'll get a sales team that asked for this help, a CRM you can reshape, several service units to design for, and the freedom to use whatever AI tools work best the week you need them. Every hour you return to a rep goes to a client on the phone who is looking for access to legal expertise.

If you've built a sales system while the team kept selling on it, we'd like to meet you.

Don't let imposter syndrome stop you from applying. Great people sometimes don't have the "right" experience. If you think you'll be amazing at this role, we encourage you to apply.
