Job Description

This is a remote position.

The role of the Guide is to develop relationships with our mothers so that they always feel that they have someone to walk with them on this journey. This role provides emotional support and light handed wisdom to the mothers, similar to the role a grandmother might play in one's life. The Guide will have contact with the mother as frequently as she desires and is expected to be available to connect with her during the windows of availability the candidate self selects.

This position is currently only open to US residents.

The Guide’s role is to support the mothers by:

  • Empowering them to resolve current issues and to develop coping strategies for the future.

  • Providing a model for a healthy, trusting relationship through clear communication and setting appropriate boundaries.

  • Acknowledging mothers’ strengths, talents and gifts and encouraging them to find ways to use them.

  • Being an active listener and offering support and encouragement when appropriate.

  • Engaging in activities that practically and tangibly help the mothers



Qualifications:

  • Willingness to provide emotional, social, and practical support within limits

  • Knowledge of one’s boundaries and ability to set limits with others

  • Recognition that all people have strengths and they need to discover and use them

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance and auto insurance

  • Completed background check and training



Job Responsibilities

- Communicate with the mothers during your scheduled availability
- Problem solve any challenges with the appropriate withyou internal subject matter expert
- Record any notes from your interactions with the mothers within their respective profile
- Maintain the confidentiality of mothers personal information and situations
- Clearly communicate to your supervisor any system or process issues that need to be improved, or issues that you need assistance to resolve
