The Recruiter actively sources, screens, and places qualified Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Anesthesiologist (MDA) for either temporary "locum tenens" assignments or permanent placement at healthcare facilities, utilizing various recruitment channels to match candidates with suitable short-term medical staffing needs, while managing client relationships and ensuring smooth onboarding processes with other team members. Position reports to Vice President of Harmony with dotted line to President, Harmony.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, in Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, or General Business.
Licensure & Certifications: N/A
Previous Experience: Minimum of at least one (1) full year of healthcare relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job preferred, but all experience levels will be considered.
Skills Demonstrated ability to develop long-term professional relationships with all candidates and hiring managers; Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written); Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Possess a high sense of urgency and with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities; Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Professional level of verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with clinical leaders.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and using a laptop and mobile device is required. Strong ability to use word processing and database applications. Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). Experience on a Salesforce platform preferred but not required
Travel: Ability to travel to recruitment conferences and other events as needed, up to 15% travel.

Work Environment: This is a fully remote position. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment in adherence with HIPPA-Compliant Home Office for Healthcare workers.

JOB SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS
- Candidate sourcing:
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential permanent or locum tenens Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAA) and Anesthesiologists (MDA) through online job boards, professional networks, cold calling, and attending medical conferences for temporary and permanent positions all over the country.
- Travel and represent company at recruitment conferences and other events as needed.
- Candidate screening:
- Conduct initial phone interviews thoroughly to assess candidates' clinical skills, availability, desired specialties, and location preferences, ensuring they meet the requirements of the healthcare facility.
- Pass qualified leads along to the appropriate hiring manager.

- Follow up on hiring process from initial sourcing until the candidate begins new position to ensure a timely on-boarding process.
- Client management:
- Communicate with hiring managers for medical facilities regularly to build relationships and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare facilities, understanding their staffing needs and presenting qualified locum candidates to fill temporary gaps.
- Contract negotiation:
- Negotiate terms of employment including compensation and assignment details with both the candidate and the healthcare facility.
- Credentialing support and Data Maintenance:
- Assist with the credentialing process by collecting necessary documentation and coordinating with the facility to expedite the onboarding of locum providers.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data.
- Enter new candidates’ demographics, CV, history, licensing information, and document call notes properly into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Marketing and branding:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract top locum tenens candidates to the agency.
- Effectively coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for prospective candidates including initiating email blasts and other online media.
- Compliance management:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and staffing guidelines
- Performs other necessary duties as assigned.
