At HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Business Services Poland) our success comes directly from our great people. We are a growing team of business experts in finance, accounting, data and technology ready to „WOW” the world with our expertise, passion and pride to be GREEN. We act on our values of Passion for consumers & customers, Courage to dream & pioneer, Care for people & planet, Enjoyment of Life, always focused on being ourselves: inclusive, diverse, and open for new challenges.
As HBS Lead Data Specialist, you make sure leadership sees the data they need to steer HBS. You translate what leadership needs to see into a reporting model that is coherent, governed and trusted. You connect business and technology: you work with leadership and business stakeholders on what they need to see, and with Digital & Technology on how it is delivered. This is not a pure technical role and not a pure business role: you need to be fluent in both.
You own the governance of our KPI framework, drive the quality and consistency of our reporting, and ensure that the reporting model evolves as our organisation grows.
Your responsibilities would include:
- working directly with HBS leadership and senior stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translating these into clear requirements for our Digital & Technology team, ensuring the right people are involved in shaping data and architecture decisions
- owning the KPI framework: steward definitions, calculation logic, ownership assignments and updating cadences across the organisation
- ensuring that KPI definitions and calculation methods are applied consistently across executive, tactical and operational reporting levels, globally and regionally
- setting and monitoring data quality standards, and managing changes to KPIs and reports, including documentation and data lineage
- building on the established reporting foundation and expanding it: improving coverage, reliability and the quality of what executive, tactical and operational audiences experience
- working with report designers and Digital & Technology to bring reporting needs to life across different audiences, reviewing and challenging the output without building it yourself
- working with data engineers on how data flows from source systems through Azure and Databricks into Power BI, and identifying opportunities to automate manual input
- embeding governance routines and reporting ways of working into business-as-usual processes
- coaching KPI owners, data providers and report designers on their roles and responsibilities, building lasting internal capability.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- minimum of 5 years in management reporting, analytics, business intelligence or data governance, ideally gained in a large, complex, multi-function organisation
- working knowledge of SQL, the Azure data stack (such as Data Lake, Data Factory or Fabric) and Databricks, and a good understanding of data modelling and data lineage
- you understand data models, data pipelines and Power BI (including data modelling, DAX and Power Query) well enough to review, direct and challenge the people who build them
- you understand how leadership steers the organisation and what they need to see, and you turn this into clear reporting requirements
- you know how to govern a KPI or metrics framework at scale, set data standards and keep quality high, so that data is trustworthy and consistent across a large organisation
- you are used to working with senior stakeholders, you simplify complexity and you drive things to conclusion.
You are a perfect match if you have:
- certifications, such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate or DAMA CDMP at Practitioner level.
