Health Center Partners of Southern California is seeking a Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst to serve as a key accounting and finance resource for complex healthcare programs, including independent physician networks, accountable care organizations (ACOs), managed care initiatives, and value-based care programs.

This role is responsible for financial tracking, reporting, reconciliation, documentation, compliance support, and financial analysis for programs with evolving contractual, payer, regulatory, and operational requirements. The Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst partners with internal stakeholders and external organizations to ensure financial data is accurate, well documented, audit-ready, and supports timely decision-making.

This is a senior individual contributor position with no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key accounting and finance resource for complex healthcare programs, managed care initiatives, and value-based care activities.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and maintain financial reports, tracking schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Interpret payer, contract, program, and regulatory requirements and apply them to financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to obtain, validate, and analyze financial information.
  • Monitor program changes and evaluate financial, accounting, reporting, and compliance implications.
  • Support audits, payer inquiries, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance requests.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation to improve consistency, continuity, and cross-training.
  • Build institutional knowledge through documentation, process standardization, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in accounting, healthcare finance, reimbursement, payer programs, managed care, value-based care, or complex program financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, compliance requests, and financial documentation requirements.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and accounting controls.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with accountable care organizations (ACOs), independent practice associations (IPAs), managed care organizations, MSOs, healthcare networks, or value-based care programs.
  • Experience with capitation arrangements, shared savings programs, risk-based contracts, or other healthcare reimbursement models.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or similar financial reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working with complex healthcare program reporting, payer reconciliations, and financial compliance requirements.
